<br />Introduction <br /> <br />This document updates the original Findings of Compliance issued by the <br />Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Division (The Division) for the Dorchester <br />No. 1 Mine on June 27, 1984. The mine, now known as the Southfield Mine, is a <br />privately owned mine in Fremont County. This document was prepared in <br />response to a permit revision (number 1) application submitted by Energy Fuels <br />Coal, Incorporated (EFCI). <br />The original Findings Document, dated June 27, 1984 is hereby incorporated <br />into this dowment by reference. Several sections of the original document <br />are still accurate. Those sections requiring changes are addressed in this <br />amendment. Both Findings Doaments are a part of the permit package. <br />All rules referenced in this document are contained within the Regulations of <br />the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board (MLRB1 for Coal Mining. Details <br />about the mining operation and reclamation plans may be found in the permit <br />application and subsequent revisions on file for the Southfield Mine <br />(Permit No. C-81-014) at the Mined Land Reclamation Division, 1313 Sherman <br />Street, Room 215, Denver, Colorado 80203 or at the Office of the <br />Fremont County Clerk and Recorder, Fremont County Courthouse, Canon City, <br />Colorado 81212. <br />-1- <br />
