This site, operated as designed, can <br />comply with the minimum standards and Department regulations, as required by <br />the Solid Waste Disposal Sites and Facilities Act, 30-20 Part 1, CRS, 1973, <br />as amended. <br />This landfill has the recommended approval of this Department and is eligible <br />for designation by the County Commissioners. The landfill must be operated <br />and maintained in accordance with the report prepared by the City engineer <br />of Craig, Colorado, and submitted to this Division for review in June, 1980. <br />As recommended in the engineering report, this landfill is to be used only for <br />the disposal of municipal solid wastes. As the report reviewed did not address <br />the disposal of liquid industrial wastes, hazardous wastes, sludges and fly ash, <br />the receipt, possession or disposal of such materials at this site is prohibited. <br />Thank you for submitting this information, which will be retained for our records. <br />If you have any questions or desire further information, please contact Mr. Kenneth <br />Waesche of this llivision. <br />Sincerely <br />bent J.
