The item of concern is Pazkerson's importation of a quantity of overburden material
from one or more of Pazkerson's other permitted pits in Mesa County.
Occasionally Pazkerson's operations have small but excess quantities of good,
clean overburden material, and Parkerson plans to haul, from time to time, moderate
quantities of the overburden to the Valley Vista Pit to enhance the very limited quantity
of marginal topsoil stockpiled at the pit.
Overburden material that Parkerson elects to deposit from time to time at the
Valley Vista Pit for future reclamation use will be free of noxious weeds and other
undesirable matter.
Please contact me at 256-8851 or 241-0483 if you need additional information or
if there is continuing concern regarding the occasional importation of clean overburden
material to the Valley Vista Pit.
Yours truly,
pJI,~JU~"'- ~l
Milton G.
