The gate was a special order Powder River
gate with a latch instead of a chain for closing.
The repair of the west fence is inadequate according to the CFSI fencing
guide. Loop repairs are considered incorrect; a Western Union type
splice is required fox a permanent repair.
Since we do not agree with the Division concerning the use of our land
without permission, we are petitioning the Mined Land Reclamation Board
for a declaratory order in conjunction with our request for termination
of our bond liability also dated Aug. 2, 1993. The Corley Company, 635
Southpointe Ct., Colorado Springs, CO 80906, is permittee C-81-045.
This petition relates to a trespass by the Division.
Sincerely,
W.D.
