This cell has 14 feet
to 16 feet of mineable reserves and 4 to 5 feet of overburden.
Enclosed is one copy each of our pre-mining and mining plan map and of our
reclamation map as approved in our Amended Permit. The area described above is
outlined in red.
We propose to mine cell 10 under out current permit staying 100 feet from Wilson
Avenue and 30 feet from the Southern boundary of the permit area. The existing haul
road will be relocated to the Northern edge of the new cell. After topsoil is stripped, we
will strip overburden, stockpile it, and then reclaim it into the Eastern end of Cell 10.
There will be a 3 to 4 acre pond remaining as shown. Mining and reclamation will be the
same as described in our Amended Permit.
Loveland Ready Mix Concrete, Inc. has a current Substitute Water Supply Plan
that is updated every two years to reflect current water replacement requirements. We
have applied for a permanent augmentation plan Case No. OOCW142 that will replace all
depletions caused by our gravel mining operations.
The mining and reclamation of Cell # 10 will occur from approximately mid 2006
to mid 2010. Please advise whether Loveland Ready Mix Concrete, Inc. should process
./ this request as a technical Revision or as an Amendment to our permit.
Very trul uis
LOVE ~ _ ONC TE, INC.
or teve Fanc e ~~~~
Vice President
cc: Rod Harr, Landmark Engineering
C~~
