Project Description <br />Purpose Replace Westside Gravel as the operator and permit holder for a sand and gravel <br />crushing operation for the production of construction materials. <br />Applicant Consolidated Constructors <br />P. Box 629 <br />Farmington, NM 87499 <br />505-486-7771 <br />Landowner Durango PTR Properties, LLC <br />Bob Johnson, President <br />Project Location Section 33; Township 34N; Range 1 ] W; <br />Project Size 99.28 Acres <br />Parcel Numbers 5909-334-00-240 <br />Westside Gravel was the original permit holder and operator of a permitted sand and gavel <br />mining operation, however, due to the demise of the business through bankruptcy, Westside <br />Gravel no Longer has the authority to operate on these lands. <br />Consolidated Constructors, having entered into the proper lease and having been given full <br />access to the property hereby petitions for the transfer of the proper permits to begin a <br />construction materials mining business on the noted lands. <br />The physical location of this site is on County Road 136 and is approximately 3.8 miles south of <br />the junction of County Road ] 36 and County Road 141. As well, the site is approximately 12 <br />miles southwest of Durango. <br />Should this request for permit be granted, Consolidated Constructors agrees to continue the <br />upgrading of County Road 136 to the standards established in the permitting process with <br />Westside Gravel and further agrees to operate this operation within the stipulations established in <br />the permits granted Westside Gravel. <br />Gravel Pit Site and Operation <br />The site of the has had some mining performed by the previous permit holder with the remainder <br />of the area in it's natural state of range land. The pit will be mined in phases and as the process <br />progresses, weed control will be an integral part ofthe process on the disturbed area. <br />
