Damage is minor
and repairs will be made in these areas as ground conditions
permit. These will be done in accordance with our approved
plan in our new permit.
Inspections have been made of our drainage ditches and they
all appear to be functioning properly. There are some iso=
lated areas where they have accumulated quite a bit of silt.
Those areas will be cleaned when conditions permit.
Slips along our haul roads and access roads this spring are
relatively minor and are presently being cleaned up.
I have also talked to a representative of the land owner. He
has informed me that, at the present time, they have no plans
to run sheep on our permitted areas. However, I may still
have the problem of three or four stray cattle. I was wonder-
ing what steps were necessary to apply for light grazing on
Pits 1, 2, and 3, just in case.
Thank you. // / /
Robert H.
