Box 1430 <br />Palisade, Colorado 81526 <br />Re: Roadside and Cameo Mines Mid-Term Permit Review - File No. C-81-041 <br />Dear Mr: Barbe: <br />Enclosed is the Division's Mid-Term Review and decision to require revisions <br />to the Roadside and Cameo Mines, Permit No: C-81-041 <br />Rule 2.08.3 of the Regulations promulgated pursuant to the Colorado surface <br />Coal Mining Reclamation Act (CRS 34-33-101 et seq.) requires the Mined Land <br />Reclamation Division to conduct a mid-term permit review. A review of <br />outstanding permits is to be conducted and, for good cause shown, reasonable <br />revisions or modifications of the permit provisions during the term of each <br />such permit may be required. Such revisions or modifications shall be based <br />upon written findings and shall be subject to the notice and hearing <br />requirements of the Act. Additionally, Rule 3.02(4) requires that the bond be <br />re-evaluated. <br />The Division requests that Powderhorn Coal Company submit a response to this <br />review by July 1, 1986. In order to allow public review of changes made to <br />your application, we request that you submit the responses in one package as a <br />technical revision to your permit.
