4. Check the tank pressure on the tank pressure gauge, if it is <br />less than 200 psi, replace the tank. <br />5. Open the main regulator valve. <br />6. Very carefully and slowly open the metering valve. It is very <br />important that the pressure applied to the airline gauge not <br />exceed full gauge reading. <br />7. Allow the gas to purge the line, alternately opening and closing <br />the metering valve. When the airline gauge repeatedly increases <br />and then falls back to the same reading, the line is purged. <br />8. Record the airline gauge reading to the nearest 1-foot for <br />direct reading gauges and nearest 0.5% of full gauge reading for <br />pressure gauges on the Data Collection Form in the appropriate <br />column. If a pump is installed in the well, also note whether <br />it was running while the reading was taken. <br />9. Close all valves. <br />10. Remove the tank from the manifold slowly allowing the pressure <br />to be released before completely disengaging the manifold. <br />I1.
