BANTA, Director <br />DATE: January G, 1989 ~!~ <br />T0: Candy Thompson 1.///~i <br />FROM: Michael Savagel~`7 <br />RE: Munger Canyon Piine (C-80-004) Refuse Disposal Area; Diversion Designs <br />The Munger Canyon (dine has approval to construct a coal processing waste pile <br />near their facilities area. Though approved, the construction of the pile has <br />not begun to date. <br />Designs for ditches at and around the pile are described in the permit <br />document in Sections 2.4 and 3.1.1 and Exhibits 9A, 51, and 52. Temporary <br />ditches are designed to a 2 yr, 24 hr storm event. Permanent ditches are <br />sized to a 10 yr, 24 hr storm event. Diversions are also sized to a 10 yr, <br />24 hr storm event.
