• .. <br />ATTACHMENT A <br />Special Stipulation <br />Free Use Permit COC 60399 <br />"Big Burn Pit No. 17" <br />1. The permittee shall extract or remove mineral material from the subject lands only <br />in accordance with the mining and reclamation plan. The permittee will obtain <br />and keep current and in good standing all required State, City, County, and <br />Federal agency permits and will abide by stipulations as set forth in said permits. <br />The permittee will comply with all applicable Federal, state and county pollution <br />standards and permits. <br />2.-No disturbance to the natural drainages located on both the north aad south sides <br />of the ridge top is authorized. <br />3. All available topsoil will be salvaged, stockpiled and protected according to the <br />approved reclamation plan. <br />4. A buffer of at least 15 linear feet will be maintained between the edge of the pit <br />and the topsoil stockpile. <br />5. If buried cultural resources or fossils are discovered during operations, cease <br />activities in the azea and notify the Little Snake Resource Area Manager <br />immediately. <br />6. No hazazdous materials, hazardous waste or trash shall be disposed of within this <br />permit area. If a release does occur, the Little Snake Resource Area Manager <br />shall be notified immediately. All trash shall be removed and disposed of at an <br />approved disposal facility. <br />7. The operator will control any noxious weeds that develop on site according to <br />applicable law. ' <br />Pursuant to 43 CFR 10.4(g) the holder of this authorization must notify the <br />authorized office, by telephone, with written confirmation, immediately upon the <br />discovery of human remains, funerary items, sacred objects, or objects of cultural <br />patrimony. Further, pursuant to 43 CFR 10.4(c) and (d), you must stop activities <br />in the vicinity of the discovery and protect it for 30 days or until notified to <br />proceed by the authorized officer. <br />9. The permit holder is required to use certified weed free hay, straw and mulch on <br />BLM lands in Colorado should the use or storage of hay, straw or mulch be <br />necessary. <br />
