Discrepancies between on-the-ground sediment control and features represented <br />on Map 4a, Hydrology and Sediment Control, were recently identified. Specifically, near the 4.1 <br />acre parcel in Section 12, the rock filters and ditches do not seem to correspond appropriately <br />with the map. Please submit a minor revision to correct this problem as appropriate. <br />Response 8.) CYCC can find no record of response to this comment. CYCC wilt therefore <br />assemble and submit the requested minor revision application at the earliest opportunity. <br />In response to the following AVS/Ownership and Control comments received under two <br />separate covers from the Division, CYCC includes with this submittal triplicate copies of <br />updated and accurate ownership and control information as of this date. The newly submitted <br />and formatted information should replace as specified the information submitted earlier. The <br />responses to the following comments refer to the new information provided as appropriate. <br />Permit pages 2.03-16, 17, and 53 are revised under this submittal with a date of 3/22/95 <br />indicated on the bottom of each page. Please replace these pages in the previously submitted <br />materials in your possession. Previously submitted permit pages 2.03-18 through 52 are <br />deleted with this submittal and are replaced by newly established Exhibits 27, 27a, 27b, and <br />27c to the permit. Please incorporate the Exhibit 27 materials into the permit document and <br />reference them as indicated in response to the following comments from this Division <br />June 27. 1994: <br />Comment 1.) The permit pages state that Cyprus Amax Coal Company is a subsidiary of <br />Cyprus Amax Minerals Company. The names of officers and directors of Cyprus Yampa Valley <br />Coal Corporation, Cyprus Western Coal Company, and Cyprus Amax Minerals were submitted <br />to the Division. The officers and Directors of Cyprus Amax Coal Company were not submitted <br />with this renewal package. Please have the operator submit the names of officers and directors <br />of Cyprus Amax Coal Company. Please copy me this information when it is submitted. <br />Response 1.) Officers and Directors of Cyprus Amax Coal Company are presented on newly <br />submitted Exhibit 27 pages 9 and 10. The current copies of these pages show arevised date <br />of 3/22/95. <br />Comment 2.) The Cyprus Empire Corporation, permitee of the Eagle Mines (C-81-044), <br />submitted their new identification of interest information. In that information, it states that AMAX <br />Coal Company is a subsidiary of AMAX Energy Inc., a subsidiary of Cyprus AMAX Minerals <br />Company. AMAX Energy Inc. is not mentioned in the information submitted by Colorado <br />Yampa Coal Company as mentioned above. Please have the operator clarify if AMAX Energy <br />
