Box 906 .
La Porte, Colorado 80535
Re: Ingleside Quarry
Our File ~Vo. '80-87~
Dear Mr. Russell:
Thank you for your telephone call of June 25, 1982, inquiring about
the procedure for increasing the amount of land to be quarried,
This quarry is currently bonded and permitted for the following disturbance
categories, as outlined on page 2 of the permit document:
_. ~..
Major Disturbance: 6 acres i-
Moderate Disturbance (including amendment); 8 acres
Minor Disturbance: 7 acres
rc
You are currently permitted tq mine'in a series of stages, as outlined in
Exhibit D of the permit application, with concurrent reclamation. It
would be possible to increase the amount of disturbance by submitting a
technical revision if the increase continued to follow the approved mining
and reclamation plan. The bond, of course, would have to be adjusted to
raflect the increase in disturbance.
t
If'Lhe mining aridJor reclamation plan were to 'have major changes, an
amendment would have ~to be'applied for. Upon approval of the amendment,
the~bond would be adjusted 'acccrd3rgly.
No additional information is_needed~if the operator chooses to commence
comp?etion of alltreclamation. The annual report would update the Division
as to this action._
I hope that this explanation of our process is of some help. Please keep me
informed. Feel free to contact me if there are any questions.
Sincerelyr, / //
res.•cy 6 • '~ riGs~"
James B. McArdle -
Senior Reclamation Specialist
JBM/rmnt
