Cattany <br />Division DIFLKYOr <br />Natural Resource Trustee <br />On September 14, 2005 Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Boazd (Boazd) promulgated revised Rules and <br />Regulations of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Boazd for Coal Mining (Rules). One of the revised <br />Rules, 4.15.1(5) requires each operator to incorporate a weed management plan into their permit. Review <br />of the Eagle Mine Complex permit failed to locate an approved weed management plan. <br />Please submit a revision to update the weed management plan to comply with Rule 4.15.1(5). <br />Components of the plan include definition of noxious plant species that require weed management, and <br />provide detail of weed control methods to be utilized.
