Mr. Allen Sorenson
June 18, 1993
Page 2
3. Sediment Control System. Attached is a figure illustrating
the location and plan for the dikes. For reclamation, the
dikes will be left in place except that a breach about eight
to 10 feet wide by two to three feet deep will be made in the
southern dike. The dikes will be seeded with the approved mix.
The breach will require the removal of about 1.2 cu. yd. of
material. Only about 715 sq. ft. (0.016 ac.) of the dikes
will be above water level and require seeding. It is
estimated that reclamation will add about 0.5 hr. use of
an end loader ($45) to breach the dike, $25 for seed and
fertilizer, and one to two hours to broadcast the seed and
rake the area ($25) for a total estimated additional
reclamation cost of $95.
Allen, please feel free to call if you have any questions.
Very tr y your ,
~1r~=~ S ~---
Michael D.
