On September 18, 2003, the Division notified Basin Resources Inc (BRI) that the <br />Division must recerve a complete application for renewal of an existing permit no later <br />than December 25. 2003. On November 5, 2003, the Division received an application <br />from BRI. The application was determined to be complete on November 12, 2003 and <br />appropriate State and Federal agencies were notified of this application and included a <br />request for any comments to be submitted to the Division within 30 days from this <br />notification. The mine has received <br />approval for bond release for disturbed acreage as shown below The 5 acres of 100 <br />percent release are associated with the release of disturbed lands under an industrial <br />use bond release. <br />The Division on December 16, 2003 received proof of publication of the applicant's <br />public notice. The applicant published notice of the permit renewal in the Chronicle <br />News once a week For four weeks. beginning on November 18 and ending on <br />December 9 The Applicant Violator System was queried on February 3, 2004 for the <br />applicant. Basin Resources, Inc. The system returned a recommendation of issue. On <br />January 9, 2004, the Division forwarded adequacy questions resulting from review of <br />the approved permit application to BRI. The Division received a response to these <br />adequacy questions on March 9. 2004. Additional adequacy concerns were forwarded <br />to the applicant on April 1, 2004. The Division received responses from BRI to these <br />latest adequacy concerns on June 3, 2004. Based on these responses the Division <br />
