As
edited, the agreement indicates the scope of work to be funded with
the last $800 of Harrison Western money will be determined by The
Corley Company. As we discussed, the Division anticipates doing
this work in conjunction with final work related to the East Pit
project, while a contractor and equipment are on site. The
Division will notify you when the outstanding issues with the East
Pit contractor are resolved and completion of the project is
scheduled. At that time, the Division will consider options for
completing Section 24 work which you might identify. Obviously the
final determination of the scope of work must be made by the
Division in its contract with the party doing the reclamation.
If resolution of the outstanding issues at the East Pit entails
unreasonable delays or results in no further work on that project,
the Division will seek a contract to complete whatever maintenance
work The Corley Company has identified which can be funded with the
remaining $800.
