The erosion condition composite soil surface factor score
for this site is 10.5, which places it in the Stable erosion class. The field results for
the 1992 survey are contained on Table 3.
West Ridge
Three subareas were evaluated on West Ridge using the methods described in
BLM Technical Note No. 346 (Exhibit 1). Two of the subareas are topsoiled and one
is reclaimed spoil material. The soil surface factor scores and erosion condition
classifications are as follows:
West Ridge Subarea SSF Score Erosion Condition Classification
W-1-TS 25 Slight
W-2-NTS 46 Moderate
W-3-TS 20 Stable
The field results for the 1992 survey are contained on Tables 4, 5 and 6.
• PHOTOGRAPHIC RECORD
Photographs of Concentrated Flow Feature No. 1 and the various areas evaluated
for Erosion Condition Classification are located at the back of this report. The
photographs contain captions which are self explanatory.
CORRECTIONAL MEASURES AND METHODS
Correctional measures and methods are not required based on the 1992 erosion
inventory. The lower end of Erosion Feature No. 1 in the South-of--Shop area will
be monitored closely for instability. Should the measured erosion rate be deter-
mined to be excessive, a correctional plan will be submitted for MLRD review and
approval.
. WRE May 27, 1992
