<br />~~ <br />Summary of the Review Process <br />On December 22, 1987 Wyoming Fuel Company applied for <br />under the Colorado Surface Coal Mining Reclamation Act <br />grading work completed at the Canadian Strip Mine. Tf <br />Jackson County, approximately 12 miles east of Walden, <br />of Sections 2, 10, and 11, T8N, R78W, of the 6th P.M. <br />requested that Phase I bond release be granted for 81 <br />partial bond release <br />for backfilling and <br />e mine is located in <br />Colorado, in portions <br />The operator has <br />acres reclaimed in 1987. <br />This request was found to be complete on January 6, 1988, with the submittal <br />of additional information by the operator. <br />On May 13, 1988, a site inspection was held in accordance with Rule <br />3.03.2(1). Present at the inspection were representatives of the Division, <br />Wyoming Fuel Company, Bureau of Land Management, and one of the landowners, <br />Mr. Dale Moore. A follow-up inspection was performed on May 18, 1988 with <br />representatives from the Division, Wyoming fuel Company, and the Office of <br />Surface Mining Reclamation and Enforcement. This follow-up inspection was <br />necessary since the Office of Surface Mining was unable to attend the <br />May 12, 1988 inspection. <br />9599E <br />
