Dept. of Natural Resources <br />This letter is written to inform you that problems noted <br />during your last two inspections of the Marr Strip Mine and <br />Prep Plant have been resolved as follows: <br />06-83-01. The operator should repair the H-Flume <br />located at the tipple prior to spring runoff, but <br />no later than March 15, 1984. <br />The flume mentioned above was repaired by extending the <br />depth, width and height of the flume, and backfilling the <br />washed out area with a mixture of sand, gravel and bentonite <br />clay, This repair work was completed on March 13, 1984. <br />06-84-01. The operator should remove the coal and <br />bench material as outlined in Section 4.28, prior <br />to spring runoff, but no later than April 15, 1984. <br />The coal and bench material referred to above was <br />removed from the areas in question at the tipple site on <br />March 13, 1984. <br />Please contact me with any questions you may have. <br />Sincerely, <br />.~~~~~~- <br />David R.
