Dept. of tvatural Resources
According to laboratory analyses we received on the 11th of July, runoff
• from Trapper Plioe exceeded NPDES limits in Johnson Gulch drainage (discharge
point 001) on June 3, 1980. The attached standard reporting form lists the
details of the analyses in the affected drainage. On this date, effluent from
Johnson Culch had a mean value of 56.3 mg/1 for TSS. All other parameters were
within NPDES permit requirements.
The effluent TSS level in Johnson Gulch drainage (001) was out of
compliance due to a defective seal on the culvert stand pipe. This allowed an
effluent seep [o develop which discharged below tine level designed for the
system. The leak has been repaired and no subsequent effluent 1'_mits here been
exceeded (see 6/10/80, analyses attached).
HEH:ams
Attachment
cc: Colorado Pained Land Reclamation Div.
434 Centennial Building, 1313 Sherman 5t.
Denver, Colorado 80203
File 109.2.7
Best regards,
~~
H.B.
