The LUB plena to use the eueting pits on this property <br />for the storage of voter Eton their electric light giant for the purpose <br />of recharging voter xells they ova adjacent to the property. <br />The portion of land that Valco Inc, desires to sell ie ehoxn oa the attached <br />map and ie located in the southwest portion of the preseltly permitted area <br />and seat of the railroad tracks. <br />The LUB would assume full responsibility for reclamation of the area that <br />they purchase. Valco Iac, would retain its present permit for the rsmninder <br />of the area along with reclamation responsibility. <br />The LUB desires to be relieved from the eloping requirements for the portion <br />they are purchasing for as long as they use the land for the intended purpose <br />of voter storage and eater yell recharge, since the eloping of the banks <br />would consume valuable water storage area in the pits. <br />The LUB hoe approval of the State of Colorado Division of water Reaouroee <br />to use the pits for their water yell recharge plan. A copy of thni; corre- <br />spondence is oleo attached. <br />Under the Bales agreement, Yalco Inc. would retainlt,xnerehip of s17. Band and <br />gravel deposits in the pits and would have a right to eztrnct and sine ouch <br />material until the sine ie delpeted, hoxever the LUB vonld be responsible <br />for all mined land reclamation of this area. Attached ie a draft Dopy of the <br />lease agreement between the two parties that would be executed at the tine of <br />eels.
