Box 548
Room 11, Courthouse TELEVNONE:
Telluride, Colorado 81435 laoal Txe•aoea
February 26, 1988
Dwayne Skelton
Skelton, Inc.
Norwood, Colorado 81423
Dear Mr. Skelton:
Last fall I wrote to you advising that gravel operations in
San Miguel County were a use that required Planning Com-
mission approval. At that time I requested that you contact
this office at your earliest convenience. Not having heard
from you I would again urge you to contact this office con-
cerning any active gravel operations which you may be con-
ducting in San Miguel County. Also, if you plan to start
up or resume any gravel operations in the spring that have
not been permitted by the Planning Commission, you should
contact this office regarding same. -
The approval process is not a complicated one, and is set up
to evaluate potential impacts of the gravel operation so that
such impact can be minimized or eliminated.
Your failure to cooperate in this matter may result in
civil or criminal action being taken against you.
Your prompt attention to this matter will be greatly
appreciated.
Respectfully,
Thomas C. Smith
cc: Bill Harmsen, County Attorney
I~Mike Horner, Road & Bridge Dept.
TCS:lc
c '. ~^n
