Kaiser has expended over a
million dollars to reclaim the mine. That work has been put in jeopardy in the past
because of your trespass on the property to graze cattle. Now we have been told that
you are allowing others to hunt on the property.
Our recent inspection has shown damage in the reclaimed areas caused by off-
road vehicles and the dragging of animals down the slopes and across ditches. Our
representative, Dale Hockett, has informed you to stop allowing people on the property,
but you have continued.
Be advised that Kaiser has not given you any license to use our leased property
for any reason, including but not limited to, the grazing of cattle or hunting. Any such
use will be considered a trespass. In addition, should any of our reclamation work be
damaged, we shall hold you responsible for the full cost of repair, which may be offset
against future rental payments.
Since
Terry .'Cook
Senior ice-President and
General Counsel
cc: G.
