Mr. Rodney D. Knutson
October 25, 1990
Page 4
become available to compare to any claims asserted that contest COM,
Inc. ownership.
Mrs. Fraser intends to come to Boulder, Longmont and Gold Hill with
increasing frequency. Flom time to time I shall accompany her there
or may come independent of her visits. Wayne Tatman will be the
Superintendent on site. We expect our increased presence to work
toward and facilitate the objcetives we have described to you.
Insofar as the offer to seA the mill or aA interests in COM, Inc.
heretofore tendered, you may deem those offers expired and unavail-
able for acceptance. We remain receptive to any proposals you may
wish to advance on behalf of Mi Vida. We assure you any such pro-
posals will receive prompt and serious consideration such shall
deserve.
I encourage you to recognize that passage of time has compelled
reassessment of the conditions under which the mill can now be sold.
The mill placed in operation and production by COM, Inc. develops
obligations that wlll have to be accommodated considering any future
disposition of the mill.
We accept the mill was constructed for the primary purpose of
processing ore from the Cash Mine properties. Mr. Tatman has
assured us operation of the mill wiA be in a manner to accommodate
whatever reasonable ore processing requirements Cash Mine
properties are expected to have.
We do not perceive any operational plans we are compelled to adopt
shall be at odds with reasonable prospects to make productive those
mine properties associated with Gold Hill Venture Limited
Partriership.
We do hope that we will be able to have constructive discussions to
further advance the interests we sern. It remains our considered
judgment a fully operational mill on site can only enhance the mining
interests of Gold Hill Venture Limited Partnership.
If and when that enterprise is confirmed by agreement among the
parties and the General Partner can commence operations, a fully
operational mill will be there to receive and process the ore to the
profit of all.
