Mine Equipment and personnel
move approximately 11,000 cubic yards of material onto the 6.73 acre tract designated
as Prime Farmland. From the map, you can see that we exceeded the .8 foot
requirement substantially. The depth measurements were made on September 28,
1995. That was one day after the placement was complete so moderate compaction
was evident from the haul truck, water truck and grader traffic.
We then disced the entire area with several passes from all directions and then used
the leased rock picker to remove most rocks greater then 2 inches in size. We plan to
do some final grading to improve drainage and stockpile sufficient topsoil on the south
edge of the area for remediation of [he Pond 007 Road. We have ordered Winter
Wheat and plan to plant it the first week of October to establish a winter cover crop.
If you have any questions, or need any further documentation, please feel free to
contact us.
Sincerely,
I o0 IR~~G~N~`-.
Tod LeFevre
Mine Engineer
