C-81-008
Dear Mr. Ranney:
In the latest inspection report dated 8/13/92, you have indicated that the joints in the riser pipe of Pond
6 were possibly leaking and should be resolved prior to the next inspection. Mr. Lance Wade informs
me that the understanding reached during the field inspection was that the maintenance work would
be undertaken when the water inflow from the summer irrigation was shut off and the water level in
the pond was low enough for inspecting the joints. This understanding seems to be prudent.
Western Fuels-Colorado will abide by the understanding reached during the field inspection. If
needed, please modify your inspection report to indicate this change. Thank you.
Sincerely,
Murari Shrestha
Assistant Manager of Engineering
MS:Igp
cc: Don L.
