RE: Yoast Mine Permit C-94.082, Request for a Pre-Blast Survey
Dear Mr. & Mrs. Yoast:
As per the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board for Coal Mining
Regulation 4.08.2, a resident or owner of a dwelling or other
structure located within a one-half mile radius of the Yoast Mine
permit area has the right to request a pre-blast survey. Please
refer to the attached figure 19-1 for the location of your
structure and where it is in relation to the permit area. A
blasting schedule is also attached from your information and figure
14-2-1 shows the location of the two blasting site perimeters. This
notice is required to be mailed to you at least 30 days before
initiation of blasting activities.
Your request for a pre-blast survey must be made in writing to:

Seneca Coal Company will promptly conduct a pre-blast survey of the
dwelling or structure and promptly prepare a written report of the
survey. If a structure is renovated or added to, subsequent to the
pre-blast survey, then upon request to the Division a survey of
such additions and renovations shall be performed. The report will
contain the following:
