<br /> <br />NOTICE OF BLASTING SCHEDULE <br />COLORADO YAMPA COAL COMPANY <br />In accordance with 30 CFR 715.19 and Colorado Regulation 4.08, <br />Colorado Yampa Coal Company, P.0. Box 774288, Steamboat Springs, <br />Colorado 80477, hereby provides public notice of its blasting schedule <br />for operations located in T4N, R86W; T4N, R87W; of the 6th Principal <br />Meridian, in Routt County, Colorado. <br />1) Blasting will occur within the following specific areas: <br />(A) T4N, R86W <br />Section 7: <br />Section 8: <br />Section 8: <br />Section 9: <br />Section 17: <br />Section 18: <br />Section 18: <br />Section 19: <br />S`~ SE~t SEAL <br />NE'-G <br />SWti, E i SEti, NEti SE`Z <br />SW~ <br />NWZ NWti, N~Z NE's NW'y <br />Sz Lot 1, Si Lot 6, Lots 7, 8, 10, 11 6 12 <br />NE's <br />N i NEZ <br />(B) T4N, R86W <br />Section 24: NW`-4 <br />2) Commencing on 3anuary 15, 1984, blasting may occur during the <br />following time on Mondays through Saturdays: <br />10:00 - 10:30 a.m. <br />11:00 - 11:30 a.m. <br />1:00 - 1:30 p.m. <br />2:00 - 3:30 p.m. <br />4:00 - 5:00 p.m. <br />3) Blasting at times other than those described in the schedule <br />may occur when certain unavoidable hazardous situations are <br />seen to exist, if <br />A. Previously approved by the appropriate regulatory <br />authority; or <br />B. Where CYCC or the public safety requires, such as <br />(i) destruction of damaged or deteriorated explosives or <br />detonators in a safe manner; <br />(ii) disposal of misfires and/or undetonated explosives; <br />(iii)firing of charged holes as soon as practical after <br />cessation of static electricity or stray current <br />conditions when electric detonators are used; <br />(iv) firing of charged holes when weather conditions <br />
