NOTICE OF BLASTING SCHEDULE
COLORADO YAMPA COAL COMPANY
In accordance with 30 CFR 715.19 and Colorado Regulation 4.08,
Colorado Yampa Coal Company, P.0. Box 774288, Steamboat Springs,
Colorado 80477, hereby provides public notice of its blasting schedule
for operations located in T4N, R86W; T4N, R87W; of the 6th Principal
Meridian, in Routt County, Colorado.
1) Blasting will occur within the following specific areas:
(A) T4N, R86W

2) Commencing on 3anuary 15, 1984, blasting may occur during the
following time on Mondays through Saturdays:
10:00 - 10:30 a.m.
11:00 - 11:30 a.m.
1:00 - 1:30 p.m.
2:00 - 3:30 p.m.
4:00 - 5:00 p.m.
3) Blasting at times other than those described in the schedule
may occur when certain unavoidable hazardous situations are
seen to exist, if
A. Previously approved by the appropriate regulatory
authority; or
B. Where CYCC or the public safety requires, such as
(i) destruction of damaged or deteriorated explosives or
detonators in a safe manner;
(ii) disposal of misfires and/or undetonated explosives;
(iii)firing of charged holes as soon as practical after
cessation of static electricity or stray current
conditions when electric detonators are used;
(iv) firing of charged holes when weather conditions
