A.f ttiistiine we have no information if the water strata has returned to normal or.
if the cealmg/liackfilling of the shaft resulted in the problem being.rectified. Tf the water
bearing strata remains incapable of producing the water it was capable of producing
before the air-shaft was bored, we certainly object to the release of the bond if our wells
are permanently ruined.
We also object w ti(-e release of the bond because of the unpaid judgment issued
in cause number O1CV26 n Las Animas County District Court because of coal mining
related damage oa this ~ame property. The unpaid judgment is in the amount of
$622,000:00 _
This written objection is joined with our request for a public hearing and/or
informal. conference in the event the public hearing cannot be held.
It is a simple matter to drop adown-hold pump down the neaz-by well as we did
when the well went dry.
- Very truly yours
L W OFFIIv~ TANM
~~
. ~ and Ann Tatum
I.
929 Narch Commercial Street Trinidad, Colorado 81x82
~`.~:
b0 3917d Wflltil WIC 65L09b86SL 00~5T L00Z/6Z/E0
