Long, <br />DrviSion Director <br />The Division has received a facsimile of your petition to the Mined Land Reclamation Division <br />transmitted June 30, 1992. The petition states that "Due to the fact that the load-out areas still <br />must be reclaimed, (EPA Regulations), and maintained for 10 years (as other areas were), it <br />will cost Sun Coal an estimated $240,000.00. This may not include the Court Ordered fencing <br />of all reclaimed areas. We would agree to accept all areas, except the pit area, as is, if Sun <br />Coal Company would pay us the $140,000.00..." Your proposal is not in accordance with the <br />currently approved reclamation plan as described in the Meadows #1 Mine permit application. <br />Modifications to the approved reclamation plan require a revision to the mining and <br />reclamation permit.
