A program called QuickView will be copied to the CD and must be installed on yow computer in order to use a DMG imaging CD the <br />fast time. Future use of this or other imaging CD's does not require a new insmllation of the sofirvare. <br />2. The CD or DVD that you purchase roll be in the D: drive. A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD. <br />3. The CD will contain files with the .cif extension. There needs to be an image viewing application for .cif files on yaw computer that <br />will handle single and multi-page documema. On a Windows XP computer, the default viewing programs are called "Windows Picture <br />and Fax Viewer" or "Paint" and they do not work with QuickView. The Imaging Viewer that cornea with pre-Windows XP computers <br />does work. DMG has determined that a program called "hfanView", which can be downloaded from IrfanView.com, dcea work with <br />QuickView. Attu downloading "irfanView", it needs to be configured as yow default .cif viewer. DMG does not support or endorse this <br />software and the licensing and registration ara the user's rLsponsibility. There are many other programs that work u well, such as <br />"Imaging Preview" and "Imaging for W indows". <br />Inatructlons• <br />1. Insert the CD into your computer. <br />Allow time for the CD to install. <br />3. Eject the CD from the computer. <br />4. Reinsert the CD into the computer. <br />5. You are ready to view rite Permit Files. <br />NOTE: A program called QuickView Autorun, which nuts the QuickView <br />setup program, has also been copied to this CD. If the Autumn program <br />does NOT work, you will nced to manually install the QuickView program. <br />Instructions for manually installing QuickView are available upon request <br />with the CD or ran be viewed at www.minine.smte.co.us. <br />The Permit File document images can be viewed in the reception area of the DMG office or they can be parehased on a CD or <br />DVD. The CD/DVD purchase cost coven the time and labor of making the CD.
