Computer requirements to use the DBMS document imaging CD (or DVD): 1. A program called QuickView will be copied to the CD and must be installed on your computer in order to use a DAMS imaging CD the fast time. Future use of this or other imaging CD's dcea cet require a new installation of the software. 2. The CD or DVD that you purchase roue be in the Do drive. A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD. 3. The CD will contain files with the .tif extension. There needs to be as image viewing application for .tif 51es on your computer that will handle single and mold-page documents. On a Windows XP computer, the default viewing programs are called "Windows Picutre and Fax Viewer" or'Paint" and they do not work with QuickView. The Imaging Viewer that comes withpre-Windows XP computers does work. DAMS has determined that a program called "hfanView", which can be downloaded from hfanView.com, does work with tZuickView. After downloading "IrfanView", it needs to be configured as your default .tif viewer. DAMS does not support or endorse this software and the licensing and registration are the user's responsbility. There are many other programs that work as well, such as "Imaging Preview" and "Imaging for Windows". Inatrucdona• 1. Insert the CD into your computer. Allow titnc for the CD to install. 3. Eject the CD from the computer. 4. Reinsert the CD into the computer. 5. You are ready to view the Permit Files. NOTE: A program called QuickView Autorun, which runs the QuickView setup program, bss also been copied to this CD. If the Autoivn program does NOT work, you will need to manually install the QuickView program Lrsttuctions for manually installing QuickView are available upon request with the CD or can be viewed at www.minine.state.co.us.
