These distributions are shown in <br />Figure 3. <br />' Trip Assignments <br />The trip assignments for the project generated trips are based ugon existing <br />' traffic patterns. All trips generated by the project will use CR 521. Most wrill <br />' use CR 521 to access US 160. The remainder will travel CR 521 towards <br />Ignacio. All truck and auto traffic will use these routes. These assignments <br />are shown in Figure 4 along with the traffic volumes for the site driveway <br />intersection with CR 521 for 10 years and for 20 years for the condition where <br />' the project is assumed to primarily expand its life, not the volume of aggregate <br />and concrete sold. The growth rate used for site generated traffic is 5 pct/yT. <br />' This value is obtained from the goals established by the business goals set up <br />t by Gosney & Sons, Inc. Traffic count data taken by La Plata County CR 521 <br />near US 160 during March 1991 was used to establish the average annual <br />growth rate for CR 521. Peak hour counts, and vehicle classification for the <br />' intersection of CR 521/Gosney Driveway were conducted August 20, 1992. <br />Additional vehicle classification and volume data were obtained from La Plata <br />' County taken on October 18, 1988. <br />1 <br /> <br />15 <br /> <br />
