Total Area Disturbed <br />5 to 6 acres on each pit <br />5. wildlife Species List <br />Coyote, magpie, skunk, small rodents, prairie dogs, raptors, <br />seasonal songbirds, deer, fox, cottontail rabbits. <br />6. Endangered Species Impacted <br />No known threatened or endangered species. <br />7. Assessment of Mining Impact on 4ildlife <br />Old diggings - these are knobs of Clay in the hogback area west <br />of Denver with very little impact on wildlife. <br />8. Proposed Mitigation Measures Including Reclamation for Wildlife Habitat <br />Slope the cuts and reseed to native grasses. This is very poor <br />soil, so it is doubtful if very much by way of reveg can be <br />accomplished.
