The First National Rank of Florence has at this time
contacted several er.perts in the coal industry and it seems
feasible to them and to our consultants that the continuation
of the operation of this mine is the most feasible way to re- ~
solve this situation.
The continuing operation of the mine and
erator re-permit the mine to satisfy the
tion.Divisions wants and requirements is
We will insure that the new operators do
derstand. this and s•+e will work with thei
of credit to bacl: the bond for the Mined
vision.
having the new op-
Mined Land keclama-
our first priority.
this and fully un-
n tG get a new letter
Land keclamation Di-
Should these particular attempts fail we have also hired a
]and reclamation specialist. FVe has provided us with the re-
quirements needed to meet the land reclamation board plan.
__,__.,,.._He reviewed the mining permit and personally reviewed the
site with Plr.. Dan T. Mathews of your office.
The proposed reclamation schedule is: as the weather per-
mits, we would start the reclamation project sometime after
April 1, 1990. The total time to finish it will be 90 to 12C+
days, again weather permitting. Should we start at the latest
by May 1, 1990, and need most of the 120 days, we would be
finished_ometime around September 1, 1990_
All of these commitments and schedules are contingent on the
present ownership of the land and the present ownership of
the personal property on the site being determined and the
cooperation gained from those entities. At the present time
The First National Ran{; of Florence is wort;ing with title
companies and county clerks tG try tG establish the ownership
of both the real property and the personal property and once
we have established that we ,•+ill then begin tG wor4: with them
to help expedite the above obligations.
What fo]1Gw5 is Gur reclamation prGposa]:
~,. r+.
i
irsl National Bank Post Office Box 389• Florenre, Cgloredo 67226-Phone 7846376
_i
