As Project Manager, respon- <br />se i hies inc u e preparation o engineering feasibility studies, <br />designs and environmental reports for mining and water resources <br />developments. Studies involve pre-reconnaissance evaluations through <br />final design and construction surveillance. <br />Recent projects included the Yosemite Hydroelectric Project for the <br />National Park Service consisting of preliminary planning through final <br />design and contract documents for rehabilitation of an existing <br />hydroelectric system in Yosemite National Park. International pro- <br />jects included a tailings dam spillway design and preliminary water <br />resources investigations for a coal mine in the Dominican Republic. <br />Mr. Brown has been responsible for studies and designs leading to the <br />enlargement and/or rehabilitation of Standley Lake Dam, Horse Creek <br />Dam and Prospect Dam in Colorado. Mr. Brown contributed to the engi- <br />neering design of the Dryden Hydroelectric Project in Washington State <br />and the enlargement of Great Western Dam in Colorado. <br />A major mining undertaking was the Thompson Creek Project for Cyprus <br />Mines Corporation. As Pro,iect Manager for Hydro-Triad, Ltd., respon- <br />sibilities include the water related aspects of planning and design. <br />Preliminary planning, final designs and construction drawings and spe- <br />cifications were prepared for: three sediment control dams, each <br />about 50 feet high; a seepage return dam, about 100 feet high; and a <br />water collection, and diversion system with a pipeline over 3 miles <br />long.
