During this conversation, you (CONTRACTOR) had a <br />number of concerns that you felt were not adequately addressed in <br />GEC Project documents which included the following; <br />1. The CONTRACTOR does not intend to move approximately 2800 cubic <br />yards of previously-stockpiled topsoil located on the north end of <br />Chen's Hill since it was not specifically identified on the map in <br />the bid documents. <br />2. The CONTRACTOR does not intend to move approximately 5000 cubic <br />yards of previously-stockpiled topsoil located in the East Pit area <br />since it was not specifically identified on the map in the bid <br />documents. <br />3. The CONTRACTOR does not wish to prepare the ground for drill <br />seeding which will require the raking of rock in certain areas <br />where it will interfere with the drill seeding operations. <br />After a careful review of the Bid Documents, General Bid <br />Specifications and discussions with the PROJECT MANAGER, John <br />Nelson, I have come to the following conclusion regarding the above <br />items; <br />1. Regarding the 2800 cubic yards of previously stockpiled topsoil <br />located on the north end of Chen's Hill. <br />Task 4-Chen's Hill Topsoil Replacement in the General <br />Conditions states that "Topsoil and growth medium is available from <br />the stockpiles located on the north end of Chen's Hill as shown on <br />map 7." The map shows only a single stockpile location. As <br />outlined in the General Conditions, page 1, In case of a difference <br />between the contract documents, precedence shall be given to the <br />
