Box 2290 <br />Denver, CO 80201 <br />Dear Mr. Sweetman: <br />A check of Planning Department files shows that we have no records <br />of a conditional use being granted by Adams County for gravel mining in <br />the area east of the South Platte River and north of the 136th Avenue <br />alignment. This area is south of and contiguous to the Parcel 5 of the <br />A ~ Tower Pit property originally permitted for gravel mining by Adams <br />_ Aggregates, Inc. During a site visit to the Tower Pit property on <br /><>_ October 4, 1985, you indicated to me that this property had been added <br />to Ready Mixed Concrete Company's holdings after the acquisition of the <br />Adams Aggregates' parcels. <br />Please provide us with sufficient documentation to show that this <br />area has been approved for gravel mining so we may update our records. <br />If you have any questions, please contact me at 287-5249, Ext. 300. <br />Sincerely, <br /> <br />Thomas E.
