Computer requiremenb to use the DItM3 document imaging CD (or DVD): 1. A program called QttickView will be copied to the CD a~ must be installed on your computer in order to use a DAMS imaging CD the first time. Future use of this or other imaging CD's does not fequire a new itlsbl)stion of the software. 2. The /:9 or DVD that you purchase aw is be in the D. drive. A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD. 3. The CD will contain 51ea with the .tif extension. There needs to be an image viewing application for .tif files on your computer that will handle single and ttnilti-page documents. On a Windows XP computer, the default viewing programs ate called "Windows PiMUre and Fax Viewer" or "Palm" and they do not work with QttickView. The Imaging Viewer that comes with pre-Windows XP computers does work. DBMS has determined that a program called "IrfanView", which can be downloaded from IrfanView.corn, does work with QuickYiew. After downloading "IrfanView", it needs to ba configured as your default .tif viewer. DAMS does not support or endorso this software and the licensing and registration are the user's reaponsbility. There are many other programs that work as well, such as "Imaging Preview" and "Imaging for Windows". Instructlous: I. htsert rho CD into your computer. Allow tiau for the CD to install.
