All sedimentation controls and surface water control
devices will be maintained as required by the terms of the existing permit. Noxious
weed monitoring and control efforts will continue. The openings to the mine have
been guarded with gates to preclude entrance of unauthorized personnel.
Grand Valley was forced to curtail active operations because of market conditions
but remains committed to resuming active operations at the earliest available
opportunity.
Sincerely;
ohn M.
