' retorts, and ~at this activity will not adve~y affect or <br />interfere with the purposes and goals for which the site is <br />designated a Colorado Natural Area. <br />A. The Owner may approve the undertaking of scientific research by <br />qualified persons, if said research is compatible with the <br />preservation of the natural qualities within the boundaries of <br />the Property. <br />B. User-access to the Property will be the responsibility of the <br />Owner. The Department will cooperate with the Owner to permit <br />access to the Property for research and educational purposes. <br />C. No camping will be allowed within the Property. <br />D. No chemical spraying will be allowed within the Property, except <br />when necessary as required by law. Mechanical control, where <br />feasible, will be used. <br />E. No grazing by domestic stock will be allowed on the Property. <br />F. No surface occupancy will be allowed for oil and gas leasing. <br />G. No public use of motorized vehicles will be authorized within the <br />boundaries of the Property. <br />H. Any reports or documents describing research performed on the <br />Property will be submitted to the Owner for review prior to <br />publication. <br />I. A copy of any documents affecting the Property executed by the <br />Owner shall be submitted to the Department within one month of <br />execution. <br />J. The Owner will continue to exercise all of its legally mandated <br />rights and duties regarding the Property. <br />5. Default. If either party reasonably believes that the other party is <br />1n default in any of its obligations under this Agreement, it may <br />give the other party written notice of the alleged default. Within <br />30 days of receipt of notice, the parties shall confer and make a <br />good faith effort to correct the default and to resolve any <br />difference of opinion which may exist as to the respective rights and <br />duties under this Agreement. In the event that default is not cured, <br />notice of default shall constitute notice for purposes of <br />termination. Default by the Owner may result in the removal of the <br />Property from the Colorado Natural Areas System. <br />-4- <br />
