Box 86
12630 Hwy. 12
Weston, CO 81091
I am writing to introduce myself and Holland ~ Hart as
Basin Resources' new counsel in connection with several
matters, including your claim that Basin's ventilation shaft
has resulted in the dewatering of your stock water well.
While Hasin continues to dispute whether the well was even
producing any water for a number of years before the shaft
was constructed and whether there is any relationship between
its current non-producing status and the construction of the
shaft, Basin has authorized me to restate and reaffirm its
offer, first tendered to you last spring, to either repair
the existing pump or to install a new windmill pump on the
well, at Basin's expense, in order to restore water
production to the surface. As you may know, Basin has
measured some 43 feet of water in the well so it believes
there is water which can be produced. Once the pump is
repaired or installed, Basin would be not be responsible for
its continued operation and maintenance.
If you find this proposal to be acceptable, and are
willing to promptly grant Basin and its contractors the
necessary access to the well site, Basin believes it can
complete the repair or installation work by August 1.
HOLLAND & HART
ATTORNEYS AT L1W
