Gunnison No. 1 Mine are submitted to you in response to CMLRD Stipulation No. 45 and OSM Stipulation No. 2, issued as parts of the permits granted to Atlantic Richfield in July, 1981. These stipulations require that we incorporate within the permit application Volumes 1, II and 111) all ARCO's responses contained in the two volumes titled "Responses to State MLR Comments" and "Completeness Review Responses." These volumes contained responses to the "completeness" questions raised by the agencies in 1980 and 1981. Please remove the existing pages and exhibits and insert the updated pages and exhibits. All of the pages go into Volume 1 and the exhibits go into Volume If. The furnishing of this material does not constitute an admission that the same is required by law nor does Atlantic Richfield Company hereby admit that its permit applications or the permits granted for its Mt.
