The purpose of this mining opet~ation is to provide raw materials for a proposed cement kiln adjacent to the mine site. We have; received several hearing request from affected parties and the Commission must consider the compliance history of this company and all related companies in their determination of whether a fotmal hearing is warranted. Our legal staff has indicated that we must consider the compliance history of Holnarn, Inc. and all related companies not only within the State of Missouri, but nationwide. As you probably know, there is no national database of mining information, so I must appeal to each :;fate in the hope of obtaining this vital information. Preliminary information indicates that Holriam, Inc. is mining in your state. In an effort to collect ail of the relevant information I am requesting that you provide the following information: The names, addresses, business aliases, whether an owner, percent owner (if applicable), title and beginning and end dates of teens for every person associated with the applicant (Holnam, Inc.) in a management function. The definition of "person associated with the applicant in a management function" means any partnership, proprietorship, corporation, limited liability company, joint vent.rre, or other type of business entity shall be deemed to be related to or associated with any other partnership, proprietorship, corporation, limited liability company, joint venture, ~r other type of business entity which has one or more persons who serve as an owner, partner, shazeholder, member, manager, officer, or director of both entities.
