AVS Updates
On November 21, 1994 I received a letter form the Legal Assistant
of Cyprus Amax Minerals Company requesting a change in beginning
dates in AVS for owners and/or officers Cyprus Orchard Valley Coal
Corporation, Cyprus Empire Corporation, Colorado Yampa Coal Company
and Twentymile Coal Company. See attached leti:er for further
detail.
It appears that the beginning dates for various: ownership and
control relationships were incorrect in AVS. These beginning dates
were taken directly from the Identification of Interest Section of
the Permits for the Orchard Valley Mine, Eagle 5 b: 9, Eckman Park
No. 1 & 2 and the Foidel Creek Mine. Please see attached letter
for correct beginning dates.
These correct dates need to be reflected in the permit pages under
the Identification of Interest Section of the Permit. In the next
permitting action (renewal, midterm, minor revision etc...) please
have the operator submit a replacement page reflecting the correct
beginning dates of the relationships mentiohed inn the attached
letter. This is no big hurry, but should be taken. of in the near
future. I have already corrected these dates in the AVS.
