Mike Ward
of my office and John Elenberger of 41est Elk Coal Company made a joint
review of the subsidence monitoring network on 8/21/85.
The determination was made on that trip to include the following stipu-
lations regarding the 4X4 plywood targets.
Keep the brown side of the target facing up from 6/15 thru 10/1
except when taking measurements for subsidence monitoring purposes.
Within 3 days of taking these measurements, face the brown side up.
If weather conditions make this work impractical, it must be com-
pleted at the first opportunity weather conditions permit.
2. It will be permissible to leave the white side of the target up
between October 1 and June 15.
Drill hole locations for minor revision C-007-80 (7/11/85) were also
located on the ground. Seven shallow hole pads and one deep hole pad
(SOM 38H3) were flagged and agreed to.
Sincerely,
. w~k~ '~ / G'e(.
STEVEN L.
