Because past mining on your property involved unpermitted Section 404 activities, we are requiring remediation of the affected areas. As owner of a portion of the subject property, liability extends to you. Telluride Gravel has agreed to take the lead and discussed gathering and providing data as well as accomplishing site restoration using a plan approved by our office. In summary, we are seeking to return stability to the San Miguel and South Fork Rivers and their confluence. Your cooperative effort with Telluride Gravel is appreciated in achieving this end.
