Box 42
Gunnison, CO 81230
Re: Dickenson Gravel Pit (M-76-305) Operator's Response to Problems 1 and 2
from 3/11/92 Division Inspection Report
Dear Mr. Wilcox:
The above-referenced response has been received by the Division. Thank you
for your prompt attention to the Dlvision~s concerns.
In regard to Problem 3 cited on the inspection report, I apparently was
premature. The Division is attempting to secure a policy decision from the
Mined Land Reclamation Board in regard to bonding for product stockpiles.
Until that decision is made, you may eliminate product stockpiles from the
requested amendment together with any estimated cost of reclamation or
attendant bonding. Modifying the mining and reclamation plans in your permit
to conform with your intentions, however, should still be done.
If you have any questions on the above, please contact me.
Sincerely,
~.' tLy
James C.
