The Pikeview Quarry, and in particulaz its <br />steep slopes, can be seen by the communities adjacent and east of the quarry, as well as by , <br />the users oflnterstate 25. <br />The :National Forest System lands west of the Pikeview Quarry include two plant ' <br />community types. South-facing slopes primarily aze composed of a shrub type community <br />of Gambel oak and Mountain mahogany.
